Today is a new day

I would like to begin my post with a promise to myself that I will continue to write on this blog. I watched Julie & Julia last night and although I started this blog months ago, I haven't written in a long time. I don't plan to cook from her cookbook although I love to cook. If you are reading this then please keep coming back. Today I'm going to enjoy the beautiful weather with my 10 year old. Perhaps we will do a little school work and have fun all at the same time. Enjoy your day! I'll be back.

Grocery saving tip of the day! If you use ground beef consider having your round roast or london broil ground by the butcher at the grocery store. It's much cheaper and better to cook with. Safeway has london broil on sale for $1.69 lb until tomorrow. We made meatloaf last night and it was fabulous. See you tonight!

Hello,
My name is Pamela, mom of four boys and two dogs. I've been married for almost 23 years and never ever thought I would write a blog despite my love for writing. I have always looked for the best deals so why not share that with others. We all need to save money especially now. I decided that my shopping tips can help others save money, time and give great joy to some people. If you have tips to share please let me know and I'll pass them on to others.

Now for my first tip!

Desire Less Have More

I know, you are asking what do you mean. If you desire less and buy what you need then you will have more in terms of money, time and peace, not to mention space. I'm a firm believer that more stuff is not having more except in many cases more debt and less room. It's the little things that matter most.

What will we be sharing on this blog? Crafts, homeschooling tips, shopping tips, book lists, recipes, toys, beauty tips, household tips, organizing (I need help myself in this area), and so much more. We are going to have fun!

I've never had a blog so please bare with me as I grow into this new direction in my life.
